The object of the club is to encourage dinghy sailing at all levels. Members need not own boats nor have previous sailing experience. We aim to generate a friendly family atmosphere in which members of all abilities and ages are welcome. The club has a good competitive sailing record and offers keen but friendly competition for all levels of proficiency.
Race Season
Organised racing takes place every Sunday between mid-March and late October with races commencing at midday.
During the summer months the club opens on Wednesday evenings for informal racing and training, partly with the aim of helping members to acquire tactical skills. A short winter handicap series for the brave and hardy is held over six Sundays, starting in mid-November.
Members can sail from the club land throughout the week as well as at weekends, but clubhouse and rescue services are normally only available when there is organised racing, so members are advised not to sail unless there is another boat or person within hailing distance.

Members
Winsford Flash Sailing Club is organised and maintained by its members. It operates under a volunteer system in which members participate in such duties as race management, race safety and galley help. This policy is essential to ensure the club is run efficiently and safely, and also aids in keeping subscription levels reasonable.
