From the M6 Motorway
From Junction 18 take the exit to Middlewich, Winsford, Chester, A54. Follow the A54 through Middlewich to Winsford.
Take the second exit on the large roundabout as you enter Winsford, then up the hill on the dual carriageway.
Turn left at the second set of traffic lights.
Continue to a small roundabout and turn left.
Follow the road through the housing estate, past the Conservative club until you come to a sharp right turn.
Continue straight on into the lane ahead. (sign on the left 'Ways Green')
Follow the lane onto the unsurfaced section and turn right at the first junction, follow this lane to the sailing club.
The lane is single track but there are passing places.
From Chester
Follow the A54 to Winsford, past the Cheshire Police HQ and turn left at the next roundabout. Straight on at the next large roundabout (with traffic lights), down the hill and turn right at the next traffic lights. Then follow the directions as above.
